Mission Statement
Bringing hope to orphans of the world through the love of Jesus Christ by providing for their physical and spiritual needs.
Our Partners
Containers of Hope has been blessed to have partnered through the years with many, many wonderful ministries and organizations. God has been so gracious to open the doors needed to fulfill His work to bring hope to the children of the world. The following is a partial list of our wonderful partners. We could not do this alone!
About Us
Todd and Jana Williams of Brea, California, founded Containers of Hope in 2006 after answering the call to the orphaned and vulnerable children of Liberia, West Africa. They understood their calling was given by God the Father, through His son Jesus Christ, and empowered by the Holy Spirit. The burden for children around the globe, and the successful distribution of the first 40ʼ container to 2,500 children in Liberia, inspired the Williams to expand shipping to Liberia, West Africa; Sierra Leone, West Africa; Durban, S. Africa; Morocco, West Africa; Tanzania, East Africa; Vizag, India; Lima, Peru; and Cusco, Peru; and local distributions where needed. Their focus remains in Liberia where God first called them.
Our Commitment
To share Christʼs love with orphans as directed to us in James 1:27 by shipping backpacks filled with school supplies, clothing and other miscellaneous items to the most impoverished and forgotten children of the world. We believe when the physical needs are met, God opens the door to reach their spiritual needs.
To ensure proper distribution to the needy once the container is received at its designated ports.
To show Christʼs love by either the delivery of bibles in each backpack or by word and deed where religious literature is forbidden.
To use the gifts and donations entrusted to us in a way that honors God and shows good stewardship.
